Plant By Frost

When is the last frost where you live?

Enter your ZIP code for the average last spring frost and first fall frost, from the nearest of 6,948 NOAA weather stations. Use it to plan planting and protect tender plants.

How to read frost dates

The average date is the middle of the range: in half of years the last spring frost comes later. For tender plants such as tomatoes and peppers, many gardeners wait a week or two past the average date, or check the "1 year in 10" date on the station page.
